After being in business for seven years, Nick Savauge wanted to expand his successful painting and renovation company. With a new focus on general contracting and building green, he partnered with his mom, Rita, and Blom Contracting Inc. was born.
The company name is a tribute to Rita’s father and Nick’s grandfather, Nick Blom, who passed away in 2008. Nick Savauge knew there was no better name than his grandfather’s to provide that lasting first impression of the company he and his mom founded. The honesty, integrity, respect for people and hard work ethic that Nick Blom exhibited throughout his life represented everything the new company would stand for.
